Focus
Have you ever tried to capture a special moment with a camera or video camera, but when you looked through the lens, it was out of focus? The image you wanted to see clearly was distorted, out of proportion, or altogether out of view. In order to see the image clearly, what did you have to do? Did you have to adjust the image itself or the focus?
Many times in my life I have wanted to capture special moments, but my focus has been blurry. When I have looked at circumstances in front of me, they have seemed distorted. That is when God redirects me to look through His clear and in focus lens, His Word found in Scripture. I can only see the truly special moments in life and capture them when I see life's circumstances through God's love and Sovereignty. The most confusing times, the toughest trials, and the unclear paths that I have viewed became clear and in focus as I began to look through my Father's camera. As I look through His camera I can see what He wants me to see. The view is breathtaking!
